With the motto "Discover, Display, Delight," Jesus Training College, Mala organized its much-awaited Talents' Day – Kalaprabha 2025 on 25 August 2025. The vibrant event provided a platform for student teachers to discover their hidden talents, display their artistic abilities, and delight the audience through a variety of cultural performances. The programme reflected the institution's commitment to fostering creativity, confidence, and holistic development alongside academic excellence.
The event commenced at 9.30 a.m. with an inaugural ceremony in the College Assembly Hall, marking the beginning of a day filled with enthusiasm, creativity, and healthy competition. Students from various optional subjects participated wholeheartedly, transforming the campus into a lively celebration of art and culture.
The competitions were organized systematically according to the following schedule:
9.45 a.m. – Social Science
10.30 a.m. – Mathematics
11.15 a.m. – Physical Science
12.15 p.m. – English
1.00 p.m. – Lunch Break
1.45 p.m. – Malayalam
2.45 p.m. – Natural Science
3.15 p.m. – Wrap-up Session
3.30 p.m. – Vote of Thanks
Throughout the day, participants showcased an impressive range of artistic talents through music, dance, drama, literary performances, and other creative presentations. The audience enthusiastically appreciated the performances, creating an atmosphere of joy, encouragement, and camaraderie. Each optional subject displayed remarkable teamwork, careful planning, and originality, making the event a memorable experience for everyone.
Kalaprabha 2025 was more than a cultural competition; it was a celebration of individuality, collaboration, and artistic expression. The programme encouraged students to step beyond the classroom, build self-confidence, strengthen interpersonal relationships, and develop organizational and leadership skills. The programme concluded with a wrap-up session followed by the Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to the college management, faculty members, organizing committee, judges, volunteers, and all participants whose collective efforts ensured the grand success of the event.
