Study Tour to Fort Kochi – Learning Through Exploration
On 27 August 2025, Jesus Training College, Mala, organized a Study Tour to Fort Kochi, offering students an enriching educational experience beyond the classroom.
Fort Kochi, renowned for its historical significance, colonial architecture, multicultural heritage, and artistic atmosphere, provided students with an opportunity to explore Kerala's rich cultural legacy. During the visit, participants observed historical landmarks, heritage streets, museums, churches, art galleries, and traditional marketplaces that reflect the region's diverse history.
The study tour enabled students to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world experiences while enhancing their appreciation for history, culture, geography, and heritage conservation. Students also developed observation, communication, and collaborative skills through interactive learning during the visit.
The tour proved to be both educational and enjoyable, creating lasting memories while broadening students' perspectives on Kerala's cultural and historical richness.
