As part of its commitment to promoting institutional excellence and quality assurance, Jesus Training College, Mala, under the initiative of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organized an ISO Training Programme on 17 September 2025 in the Seminar Hall. The programme aimed to familiarize faculty members and staff with the principles and practices of ISO standards and their significance in enhancing the quality of teaching, learning, administration, and institutional functioning.

The resource person for the session was Ms. Sheena Bhaskar, ISO and IQAC Coordinator, Jesus Training College, Mala, who shared her expertise on quality management systems and institutional best practices. She explained the objectives of ISO certification, documentation procedures, quality benchmarks, and the importance of maintaining systematic records for continuous improvement.

The session highlighted the institution's commitment to creating a culture of quality through effective planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. In observance of World Ozone Day, the Kosmos Science Club of Jesus Training College, Mala organized a meaningful awareness programme on 16 September 2025, emphasizing the vital role of the ozone layer in sustaining life on Earth. The event served as a reminder that environmental conservation is a shared responsibility and that collective action is essential to safeguard our planet for future generations.

The programme highlighted the significance of World Ozone Day, commemorated annually to mark the adoption of the Montreal Protocol, an international agreement that has played a crucial role in protecting the Earth's ozone layer. Through this initiative, the Science Club encouraged students to understand the scientific importance of the ozone layer and recognize the positive impact of global cooperation in addressing environmental challenges.
