Career Talk: "Teaching Careers Beyond Schools"
As part of the Placement Cell activities, a Career Talk on "Teaching Careers Beyond Schools" was organized on 23 october 2025 from 2.00 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. at the College Auditorium, Jesus Training College, Mala. The session was led by Dr. Jasna P. Varijan, Principal, who provided students with valuable insights into the diverse career opportunities available beyond conventional school teaching. The talk explored emerging career avenues in higher education, teacher education institutions, educational administration, curriculum development, educational technology, educational research, academic content development, counselling, and other allied sectors. The programme enabled students to broaden their understanding of the teaching profession and encouraged them to make informed career choices in the evolving educational landscape. The session concluded with an interactive discussion, where students clarified their career-related queries.
