Christmas Celebration

International Human Rights Day

Jesus Training College, Mala, commemorated World Human Rights Day on December 10, 2023, with a program dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of human rights and advocating for equality and justice for all. The event featured a keynote address on the history and significance of human rights, with special emphasis on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Students presented skits and posters highlighting various human rights issues, such as freedom of expression, gender equality, and the right to education. The day reinforced the college's commitment to fostering a culture of respect, empathy, and social responsibility.
World Soil Day

On December 5, 2023, Jesus Training College, Mala, celebrated World Soil Day with activities focused on promoting sustainable soil management and raising awareness about the critical role soil plays in supporting life on Earth. The event included expert talks on soil conservation, the importance of soil health in agriculture, and the global challenges related to soil degradation. Students participated in a hands-on workshop where they learned about soil testing and techniques to maintain soil fertility. World AIDS Day

On December 1, 2023, Jesus Training College, Mala commemorated World AIDS Day during the assembly. Students and staff gathered to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS through speeches, and presentations. The event emphasised solidarity, education, and support for individuals affected by HIV/AIDS worldwide.
Constitution Day
November 27, 2023
On November 27, 2023, Malayalam education option had conducted a short programme regarding the Constitution day. 26th of November is celebrated as Constitution day (Samvidhan divas) to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. On 26th November 1947, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the constitution of India, which came into effect from 26th January 1950. A speech and video presentation by students to promote constitutional values among citizens was conducted on this day.
Field Trip
November 24, 2023
As a part of BEd curriculum, on November 24, 2023 teacher trainees of Jesus Training College, Mala went to the land of history, Hill Palace, Tripunithura and Marine Drive, Kochi, under the guidance of teaching staff, Principal Dr. M G Ramadevi, and Executive Director Fr. Binoy Kozhippatt. The first destination was the Hill Palace Tripunithura. Students, having reached there at 11am, spend one and half an hour exploring the museum. After having lunch at 12:30pm, the group left for Kochi Marine drive. A cruise journey was arranged there at 3pm. After a fabulous boating experience with DJ, the trip came to an end by 6:30pm.
Children's Day Celebration

On November 14, 2023, Jesus Training College, Mala joyously celebrated Children's Day. The event honoured the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, emphasising the welfare and rights of children. Festivities included cultural performances, and games. Students participated in art competitions, and educational activities aimed at nurturing creativity and imagination. Teachers highlighted the importance of education and emotional well-being for children's holistic development. The day concluded with a sense of commitment to providing a nurturing environment for the young learners at the college
