 UNION INNAUGURATION & FINE ARTS CLUB INAUGURATION

The College union play a vital role in fostering student engagement, promoting extracurricular activities, and addressing student concern within the institution. The college union serves as a bridge between students and the college administration. The inauguration of the college union marked a significant event, bringing together students, faculty, and distinguished guest to celebrate the beginning of a new chapter in student leadership and campus activities. Jesus Training College Mala celebrated Union inauguration of academic year 2024-26 on November 21, Friday. The programme was conducted in college auditorium at 02:00 pm.
All the programme starts by seeking great blessings of God. The programme started with a prayer dance. Rev. Fr. Binoy Kozhippatt, Executive Director of Jesus Training College Mala delivered welcome address. He also conveyed his wishes for new union members. Dr. Jasna P. Varijan, respected principal of the College graced the occasion with a profound and inspiring presidential address. The programme was honoured by the presence of the most distinguished and perfectly suited guest, whose participation added immense value and significance to the occasion. Mr. Kuzhur Wilson, winner of OV Vijayan Literary Award 2024, inaugurated the College Union with heartfelt wishes and by ceremoniously lighting the lamp. He shared some of his own beautifully crafted poems. The staff representative Mr. Faimen Paul felicitated the gathering.


 

The oath-taking ceremony stood out as the highlight of the event, with the Principal leading the solemn oath. Sreelakshmi K Suresh, the Chairperson of College union of academic year 2024-26 expressed her heartfelt gratitude and commitment to fulfilling her responsibilities with integrity.
As a part of Union day inauguration, a vibrant array of cultural performance enthralled the audience, including Mohiniyattam, Thiruvathira, Margamkali, and Mappilapattu. Each performance make the entire programme grand success. Ms. Elizabeth Sebastian gracefully hosted the program. The event concluded with Shari C.S, General Secretary of college union, delivering a gracious vote of thanks, bringing the memorable day to close.
