Reading serves as a means of communication and language acquisition in literate societies. To foster a culture of reading, Jesus Training College Mala's Literary Club organised Reading Day celebrations titled "Vayana dinaacharanam" on June 19, 2023. Activities included book introductions, discussions, dramatisation and a quiz competition.

National Women’s day celebration 2023, NAARIYAAL was celebrated on 08.03.2023 by the Women cell in the college. Theme based talk and cosplay of great women leaders in India were presented.

The College Student Council was elected through the Parliamentary system of election conducted in the college on 07.03.2023. Polling and counting of votes were done under staff supervision and results were declared on the same day itself.
