The objective of Arts Day was to provide students with a platform to express their artistic abilities and nurture their creativity. The event aimed to encourage students to explore different art forms, while fostering a sense of appreciation for the arts in the college community. The festival was arranged for two days. It involved music and dance performances, literary and drawing competitions and drama and skits.

Sports Day is a vibrant celebration of athleticism, teamwork, and unbridled enthusiasm. The air is charged with the spirit of competition as athletes showcase their prowess in a kaleidoscope of events. Beyond the competitive edge, Sports Day fosters a sense of camaraderie, where participants forge bonds that extend beyond the track. The colours of jerseys, the palpable energy, and the collective pride make Sports Day a spectacle that transcends mere athleticism – it's a celebration of human potential, unity, and the sheer joy of pushing one's limits. The sports day of 2019-2020 was conducted on 31/01/2020 with a variety of sports items from march past to athletics and games.

CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION

The Christmas celebration of 2019 was organised on 18/12/2019. The celebration organised option wise carol competition for students. Christmas is the season of joy, holiday greetings exchanged, gift-giving, and families getting united. On that day, a special mass was conducted in the college chapel. The celebrations included a rhythmic performance from the college choir and an add-on surprise package by Santa Claus. The staff and students were completely spellbound with the Christmas gratification and the day was called off with a hearty Lunch. Throughout the celebration the students performed dances, songs and other art performances.

STUDY TOUR - ‘HASTA LA VISTA 2K19’

The trip was conducted as a part of the curriculum. Educational tours are part of education and JTC encourages its students to actively participate in educational tours to improve skills in collaboration and togetherness. These tours are organised by the college and students will be accompanied by faculty members. Tours are limited to one week in a year which will be preferably conducted during the fourth semester.

KERALA PIRAVI 2019

Kerala Piravi was celebrated on 1st November, 2019 with marked pomp, colour and festivity. The event was successful in highlighting the rich cultural heritage and its uniqueness. Competitions in Nadanpattu were held. Students took part in these with vigour and interest. Various entertainment programs were also held as a part of the celebration.

The Principal of the college is the head of the institution and the saint she has chosen to emulate in her life is celebrated as the feast day of the Principal. A feast day is a day set aside to commemorate the life of a saint in catholic tradition. In light of this, the students of the college celebrated the day with pomp and splendour. The feast day celebration of the Principal was organised on 30/09/2019. It involved cake cutting and wishing feastal greetings. Students hand overed gifts for him.
