THE 78TH INDIAN INDEPENDENCE DAY

CELEBRATION AT JESUS TRAINING COLLEGE WAS HELD OVER THREE DAYS. STUDENTS 

ENTHUSIASTICALLY BEGAN PREPARATIONS FOR THE CELEBRATION WITH A REELS AND QUIZ COMPETITION.

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION:

On 14th August 2024, Jesus Training College, Mala, organized an advanced Independence Day celebration titled ‘Triranga’. The event took place from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM and featured a series of patriotic activities that brought the entire college community together. 

The program was anchored by Ms. Henna from the English Department. Ms. Neha from the English Department began the event with a solemn prayer, setting the tone for the patriotic celebration. This was followed by a welcome speech delivered by Ms. Elizabeth from the Natural Science Department. Her address warmly welcomed all faculty members, students, and attendees, emphasizing the importance of the celebration. 

Fr. Vineesh Vattoly, Associate Executive Director, delivered the Independence Day message. He reflected on the values of freedom and the responsibilities that come with it, urging students to uphold these ideals in their academic and personal lives. His speech inspired everyone to contribute positively to the nation's progress. 

The principal, Dr. Jasna P. Varijan, delivered a heartfelt felicitation, appreciating the efforts of the organizers and participants. She also highlighted the significance of remembering the sacrifices made by freedom fighters and encouraged students to embody the spirit of independence in their daily actions. 

The celebration included several performances, beginning with a patriotic song that filled the air with a sense of pride and unity. A well choreographed dance followed, expressing the joy and resilience of India’s journey toward independence. 

Ms. Sruthy from the Mathematics Department concluded the program with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all the participants, organizers, and the audience for making the event a success. The event ended with the singing of the National Anthem, which united everyone in a patriotic spirit.

FLAG HOISTING CEREMONY 

15th August 2024

On August 15 th , 2024 , Jesus Training College , Mala , celebrated Independence Day with a Flag Hoisting Ceremony at the College Portico. The event commenced at 8:45 a.m. with the participation of the faculty, students, and staff. The national flag was hoisted with great honour, followed by the singing of the national anthem, which filled the atmosphere with patriotism . This brief but solemn ceremony served as a reminder of the nation’s freedom and the sacrifices made by countless individuals .

The event concluded with an address by the principal, who encouraged everyone to contribute

positively to society and uphold the values of independence and unity.
